Hüseyin Çağrı Sağlam was born in Gelendost/Isparta in 1973. He received his B.Sc. Degree in Industrial Engineering (1995) and MA in Economics (1997) from Bilkent University, Ankara. He obtained his MA in Quantitative Economics (1999), and Ph.D. in Economics (2003) degrees from Universite catholique de Louvain, Belgium. He worked as a research associate of ARC projects on "Growth and Incentive Design" and “New Macroeconomic Perspectives on Development” (2003) at Institut de Recherches Economiques & Sociales, UCL-Belgium. He worked as a Project Assistant at Institute fur Wirtschaftsmathematik, Technische Universitat Wien (2004) under the RTN contract HPRN-CT-2001-00234. In September 2004, he joined Bilkent University as an Assistant Professor of Economics. He received TÜBA (Turkish Academy of Sciences) - Encouragement Award in 2007. He is promoted to Associate Professorship by the Higher Education Council of Turkey in January 2008. His research interests are economic dynamics, growth theory, and dynamic games.
